Dog Behaviour Consultations

A Dog Behaviour Consultation usually starts with the initial contact from you or perhaps your Vet. After briefly outlining the issues you are experiencing with your dog and the behaviours they are displaying, you will be sent an in depth questionnaire to be completed and returned prior to the home visit. This allows more time working on the issues in your home or other suitable and relevant environment with you and your dog.

The consultation with you and your dog usually lasts for two hours and is generally split into two parts. The initial part is information gathering with the dog and you and then the second part is conducting further tests relevant to the issues such as testing your dog around other dogs or in high streets.

Any equipment used will be explained and discussed. We will also talk about training and how dogs learn and then structure a plan of action for you.

You will then receive a full written report which can also be sent to your vet if requested. Telephone and email support is also included. If you have your dog insured, your cover may be able to be used for our consultations. Go to Vet referrals and Insurance for more information.
